In this article, you will learn :

MyPoseo just released a new feature to help you create clear dashboards easily.

You can now associate colors to your domain, sub domain, folder, anything you are tracking, and even to your competitors.

Thus, you will be able to add modules in your report, with colours already in sync, without having to change every chart parameter.

HOW TO ADD COLOURS TO PERF TRACKING

First thing to know about this feature is that you can’t add a colour when you are creating your tracking report. You will be able to use colours ONLY IN EDITION.

You have to first create and configure your tracking before changing any design.

Once you have created your perf tracking, click on the project setting button :

You should have this menu dropping down, and you can now click on “edit project”:

Once you are on the campaign setting, you should be able to to click on the white square next to your domain, right under the “Site URL” Title:

On click, you will then see this :

In this area you will choose the colour to associate with your domain, subdomain, folder…

You can pick it manually, or you can use hexcode (#000000, etc)

Congratulations, you just picked the colour that will be associated with your website in the report tool.

HOW TO ASSOCIATE COLOURS WITH MY COMPETITORS

If you want to add colours to the competitors you are tracking to create charts easily in your report tool, you just need to complete a few more steps.

Once you have approved the colour, you can scroll down to get to the competitor section:

In the “Competitors’ settings”, you will find 3 buttons. You can now click on “+ Set up competitor sites”

A list of your competitors will appear. Adding color will be done the same way as for your domain. You simply have to click on the white square to the left of your competitors, and pick a colour :

Once you have approved your colour choice, you can then save the data, and go to the report tool.

HOW TO USE COLOURS IN REPORT TOOL

When you are in the report tool, click on “Edition”.

You will now be able to add modules simply by clicking on the “Plus” at the bottom right of your screen:

You can now add a chart of your choice by clicking on “Add a chart”:

Once you have configured your chart including every metrics you want to monitor, with every site you want to compare, you can click on “Approve”:

You now have a new chart with the right colours for every competitor, without having anything more to do:

The colours you picked in your performance tracking will be used for every chart you create, allowing you to have an easily readable dashboard to share with your coworkers.
