Volume trends of Keyword Lists by Channels
Myposeo’s Reports module displays the trends of your keyword list in terms of search volumes and traffic over 12 months.
A keyword trend analysis will allow you to identify the existence of seasonality trends in your industry which can greatly help with allocation of resources in specific months.
Peaks in search traffic during certain times of the year indicate the existence of seasonality. The Reports module helps you identify this and allows you to take action like setting up SEO efforts and marketing strategies to capture opportunities during these times and take advantage of seasonality trends.
You can also display these trends by channel :
Subjects/ Topics
For example, analysing trend variations on topics will allow you to identify which topics in particular have seasonal patterns. Once identified, you’ll know which keywords you should exploit to optimise your SEO strategy.
Device
On the graph above, we can see that search volumes are higher on desktop, indicating that users prefer to search these particular queries on desktop over mobile, making you rethink the investment put into mobile and redirect it to desktop.
Location
Here, the analysis of search trends by location highlights the countries with the most potential in terms of SEO, thereby guiding your strategy.
Localisation
A trend analysis by city lets you optimise your PPC campaigns according to localities

Note: here is an article that explains how the temporalities of the custom reporting tool work.
An SEO tracking project allows you to track the organic ranking (SEO) of a site on a selection of keywords.
The tracked url corresponds to the main site of the project and the total number of your tracked corpus of keywords corresponds to all the expressions queried on the engine you have configured.
Example: You follow the expression "rapport de positionnement" on several types of engines (desktop/mobile). So, each combination corresponds to a different keyword. Below is an example of 4 different combinations.
From the collection of positions, the tool automatically calculates a whole series of indicators allowing you to obtain an overview of the visibility of your site.
This report presents the main KPIs:
Overall performance
- Average position:
As its name suggests, it is an average of the positions detected on all the keywords followed.
- URLs:
It is the number of pages positioned on the site being monitored.
- PerfRank:
It is a score of 100 to 1 (1 being the best score) illustrating the positioning performance.
In summary, it is a kind of average position weighted by the monthly search volume values of the keywords positioned.
If you want to go further in understanding this indicator, this is where you will find out more!
- Presence Rate:
It is the percentage of keywords ranked in relation to the number of keywords followed in your project.
The formula is detailed here.
Changes (in %) are calculated for each of these indicators in relation to their value calculated for the first date of the analysis period of the report.
In our example, as explained at the beginning of this article, it is therefore compared to yesterday.
Segmentation of keywords by position ranges
This graph allows you to visualise your positions dimensioned by position ranges.
This way, you get the details of their distribution.
Keyword performance
In this section, the analysis focuses on keyword movements relative to the first date of the configured period.
IN:
This is the number of keywords that were not present and for which a position was detected.
OUT:
It is logically the opposite. The number of keywords that were positioned and are no longer positioned.
Rise:
The number of keywords that have gained positions.
Drop:
The number of keywords that have lost positions.
Distribution by page of results
This graph puts into perspective the number of keywords positioned per page of search engine results.
If you wish to go further in the analysis of your positioning, a multitude of indicators are calculated and are available in our customised report module.
