You have the option to specify the domain and URL format for which you wish track keyword positions.

  • Domain (mysite.com),

Myposeo offers 5 formats of URL to track: domain, sub-domain, domain folder domain, sub-domain folder and page to cover most use cases.

When creating a performance tracking, enter the domain name in the field provided and select the URL format from the drop-down list. An error message will be displayed if the selected format does not match the domain name.

For instance, if you select the "domain" format and fill in the URL: mysite.com in your tracking configuration, the module will take into account all the relatives positioned sub-domains (xx1.mysite.com, xx2.mysite.com, etc...) when calculating positions.

On the contrary, if you select the "sub-domain" format and fill in the URL: www.mysite.com in your tracking configuration, the tool will only take into account the sub-domain: www.mysite.com for the calculation of rankings.
