How Often is Data Updated?

Keyword positioning is calculated from midnight to 8:00 a.m. every day. The freshness of the data is therefore daily.

For large volumes (from 5000 keywords), it is possible to limit the frequency of updating to weekly or monthly.

For very large volumes, we invite you to contact us in order to offer you a tailor-made calculation solution.

Specifics concerning weekly or monthly projects:

- Weekly Frequency Projects:

Weekly collection means that only one position calculation per keyword is performed during the week (between Monday and Sunday).

Regardless of the exact date of the calculation, the data is basically assigned to the Monday of each week.
The data of a current week is therefore available, at the latest, on Monday morning of the following week at 8:00 a.m.We therefore recommend reporting from W-1 onwards to take into account the one-week refresh period.

- Monthly Frequency Projects:

Monthly collection means that only one position calculation per keyword is performed during the month (between the 1st and the end of the month).

Regardless of the precise date of the calculation, the data is allocated on the 1st of each month.

The data of a current month are therefore available, at the latest, on the 1st of the following month at 8:00 a.m.

We therefore recommend reporting from M-1 onwards in order to take into account the refresh period of one month

Changing the frequency of a monitoring project

For accounts with the option with several collection frequencies, it is possible to change the frequency from the project edit.

🚨ATTENTION🚨

This manipulation leads to the modification* of the historical data and this without possible return.

Why do the data have to be modified?

Because our pre-calculation system does not allow to have periods of a project based on different frequencies.

Apart from the raw data (position, pixel ranking, urls), the statistics displayed at the entity level (site(s) tracked, groups of keywords, groups of pages, etc.) are pre-calculated. ) are pre-calculated, stored and then displayed in the graphical summaries or your reports.

To allow your data to be calculated correctly, the format of the projects must therefore be adapted to the frequency.

*Modification means :

- Deletion of data when you change a high frequency to a lower frequency.

For example: you change your daily project to a weekly project

- Copying data when you change to a higher frequency.

Example: You change your monthly project to weekly. The monthly project has only one position per month vs. the weekly project which must have 1 position per week.
